«Youth With A Mission» or «YWAM» is an international inter-denminational non-profit Christian missionary organisation. It was found in 1960 by Loren Cunningham.
YWAM includes people from over 180 countries and a large number of Christian denominations, with over half of the organization's staff coming from non-western countries. YWAM currently has over 18,000 full-time volunteers working in about 1,000 ministry locations in over 180 nations. YWAM trains more than 25,000 short-term volunteers annually.
YWAM Vladivostok started in March 2009. Since then we have already run three DTS's and had opportunies to serve many people in the Far East. It is really exciting to be pioneers! Often we are challenged to step out of our comfort zones and trust God to walk on water.
